Re: Aran
I'll keep the list of people who have requested nations here.
No mods, because of the new release.
Tequilich - Machaka
Thrawn - Abysia
Eressil3 - Pangaea
K - Bandar Log
tromper - Marignon
thejeff - Jotunheim
BandarLover - Pythium
vfb - Eriu
jimkehn - Ulm
thraveboy - Vanheim
Let me know what you want, and feel free to change your mind. 3.08 new races are fine.

Re: Aran
Do you want to start a new thread for this? It's easier to have the players/nations/rules as the first post. Some of the players might be more likely to notice a new thread than this one, as well.
I wouldn't worry about holidays. If the games still running, we can wait, or you can find a substitute.
Or we'll just try to kill you off first
As far as patching:
You need to use the old version until those games patch. In the 3.08 thread, Meglobob suggested just saving the 3.06 dom3 executable and using that when the old version is needed.
I'm more paranoid and copy the entire directory.

Re: Aran
Maybe we should just stick to the players you listed vfb to speed the game up some... Also while I am here I request Machaka!

Yes, that was my plan. I will make a new thread for the game once it's started. This won't be a habit of mine, I just want to avoid accidentally starting an enormous game this time.
I'm going to try CTis, so everyone will probably hate me to death and kill me first, but I don't know if I can leave the server up and running the entire time I'm away.

Re: Aran
Guess sign me up for Pythium, if Eressil3 would prefer Pangaea. I'd be surprised to see some one pick the new MA race just yet.

Re: Aran
I don't know why no-one wants to try the new nation. I'll give it a shot, instead of CTis. Should give me as good a chance at an early death as taking CTis .
Edit: I came up with a random map for this game, and I've attached it. I think it will work well for 10 players, with either 9 land + 1 sea, or 10 land. It's attached. Please tell me if you see any problems with it. I used DrPraetorious's perl script to pick the starting locations.

Re: Aran
Keep the water provinces. It's good if someone want to take a wyrm or summon amphibian troops.
Pangaea, Eriu, Vanheim = a lot of stealthy nations !!! Be ready to be raided !
