Re: Feohtan - hosting delays
Guys, I am going to set myself to AI. I am relocating for work, and this was moved forward by six weeks (was supposed to be mid-september). My schedule is crazy and I can't find the time to get turns done.
I had a blast playing, thanks for the game.

Re: Feohtan - hosting delays
Turns are something of an issue for me, for a completely different reasons. The last couple of turns I did manage to get in were "maintenance" turns - replacing temples knocked down by own tarts, moving around blood hunters and attempting to hold onto castles.
No forging, no offensive moves ... no rituals (other than monthly ones).

Does this mean Jurri's Niefelheim gets the win?

Re: Feohtan - hosting delays
I reckon that if my tartarians quit pulling my temples down I might be able to get a dom kill in.
I have 10 candles on his capital at present and Lanka has to be putting some pressure on his remaining dominion (along with my continued push). I will PM Jurri to see what he wants to do - have been trying to force him to storm a castle or two to get rid of some of my temples whilst he seems set on economically crippling me. Its been an odd game ...

Ok, so the result is still in question. If the game is going to continue is it worth seeking a sub for Lanka?

Re: Feohtan - hosting delays
Lanka has been set to AI. I understand that Jurri is likely to set Neifelheim to AI shortly.
If the game was decided on dominion alone Sauromatia wins. I have no idea how powerful Lanka actually was before it went AI.
In short ... I don't know.
I do know that I am an awfully deliquent admin ....

Re: Feohtan - Game started! Uploading pretenders.
Game is finished ... Neifelheim suffered dominion kill two turns after Jurri had set the giants to AI. So many blood slaves went into the effort - pesky candles flickering on in the far corner of the map - deep in Lankan territory.
I think my dominion push would have put Lanka under enormous pressure the moment all of Neifelheim's temples went poof.
I don't know whether I would have won for sure but I reckon I had to be getting close.

Congratulations, Digress! Nice use of dominion.
I entered the win in the victorious nations thread.
