Re: RUNNING: First Newbie game, let's discuss how we proceed here
Assuming everyone would agree; How long should this hiatus be? 3 days? Can I pause the game on LLama?

you just set the turn timer to 72 hours (or something similar) instead of 36 or 24 then set it back. there's probably another way but that should do it.

Re: RUNNING: First Newbie game, let's discuss how we proceed here
Just glad you're still with us
Does anyone know if PMs sent can be saved? I think they should be in my sent items folder, but it's empty. I would really like to be able to go back and see what I actually said to someone, and not rely on what I think I said.

Pfoom- i sent you a couple PMs but i am not sure you have your setting set to accept them. Could you please PM me or e-mail me at philgob (at) hotmail (dot) com please? I would like to perform some diplomacy with you.

If you want to have a sent mail to be saved, you'll have to tick the "save a copy of this mail to the sent mail folder" when sending a PM. I don't know if it can be defaulted to yes, but I rarely keep backups of what I've sent to others, since my mail folder is full to the brim anyway (actually, time to clean it up again I suppose...)

can you force hosting? the llamaserver is saying all 2h turns received, but its not going to host for hours yet..for whatever reason.

You know, I thought I was doing that. When you preview it removes the check though. Got it now.
If anyone saved my first diplo messages and can forward them back to me, I'd appreciate it. I don't know if I'll try a real AAR or not, but if I do it will help.
I also appreciate the relaxed schedule this week. I will get in as many turns as possible, but it's nice not to have to worry about it
