Re: Fix the game please
It worked, though I'm not going to say how well at this time. Let him sit through all the batreps, if he wants to sample the cheese.

Re: Fix the game please
Rytek...I honestly didn't think we signed a NAP!!!! I knew I had them with my three other neighbors which left only you to attack!!!! 8^) And yeah.....you kicked my arse fair and square. Problem is....these MP 48 hour games move so slowly, I can't remember who I NAPPED 3 months ago or not. My apologies to you, sir, for the offense.
Odd though, Klaus the hero had 12 death gems and was scripted to cast darkness. At the beginning of the turn there were no death gems on his person. Weird. Anyway, I know I am going to pay for the.....uh......"mistake" I made. Please....just make it quick and merciful. I HATE slow deaths.

Re: Fix the game please
its always a good idea to make NAP agreements by PM'ing on the boards - otherwise no one can remember wtf :-)
i've seen a few glitches recently with the turns and what my orders were... i'm wondering if there is some recently introduced bug...

Re: Fix the game please
I personally don't acknowledge any NAPs unless they are done through a PM or email. I want some documentation, and the game doesn't save any.

Re: Fix the game please
Well, I think if my chicken Starspawns had not given the order to retreat, my Pretender could have routed that whole Atlantean army by himself. Not even the monster fish could seem to scratch him. Ah well, so be it. They are all dead now anyway.
R'lyeh is gone. Although we did fight to the end, and gave Atlantis a bit of a bloody nose.

Re: Fix the game please
Its a wargame. no harm done. Your death mage used all of his death gems the turn before against the PD.

Re: Fix the game please
I'm tired about the charges against me.
I proposed a NAP, but you demanded a province and complained about my army defending the province. I said I would not give you the province but would move away my army when/if you agreed to a NAP. Only reason I could see why he did not want to sign a NAP was that he was going to attack so I reinforced the province. This made Ubercat very upset and he sent an insulting message, at that point I put on the lid and decided to attack him.
I did send four scouts into your capital to whip up some unrest. You found them all and I have looked at all four battles and your mages did not use any gems.
I will have to thank Edi for standing up and defending me and seeing through the complaints of Ubercat.

Re: Fix the game please
Rytek..Hmmmm.....maybe he did by casting stuff like shadow blast??? I don't know. Good possiblity.
Yes.....I agree. It's a warGAME. Emphasis on game. I don't take these too seriously. Maybe next game we will be loyal allies. I don't carry grudges from one game to the next. Originally I thought three of us were attacking you and I ended up being the only one. Way under powered for the way you have built up. Nice game. I know it isn't over yet, but I can see I cannot hold my own against you. Good job. But I will do everything I can think of to make it a challenge for you.

I didn't demand. I respectfully requested that you cede it to me, as it bordered my capital. I also indicated that your having troops there made me nervous.
When you said no, I asked if I could trade you something for it. You didn't even bother to decline bartering. You just threatened (as you admitted above).
There was no reason you needed an army there. Neither of us are playing aquatic factions. Without help from land armies, our naval forces would be no major threat to each other. Nevertheless, you built up your army every turn, forcing me to keep my army in the fort when it could have been useful elsewhere. Didn't the London blitz teach you that you can't bully someone into submission?
In your shoes I would have withdrawn the army as soon as I realised it was annoying you. It would be simple courtesy, especially since I was no threat to you. If we'd agreed to a NAP and then I invaded your sea region, then I'd show myself a liar, and achieve nothing special by it. We'd just start a pointless naval arms race, which any REAL sea faction would laugh at, wasting our gold in the process.

And you have now seen with your own eyes that I only built 40 Shamblers, just as I said. Not much of a force to capture your whole ocean and then take your capital. I wouldn't have built them at all, except that I had an inland seazone to grab. As for insulting you, I believe I questioned your knowlege of human nature, in reference to your attempts to bully me into a NAP. Was there something else I said?

I saw some gems missing from some of my casters. Not a great deal, but noticable.
