Re: ctis turn
Didn't happen, sorry. If I can't get it working tonight, I'll have Graeme set me to AI. I'd look for a sub, but I'm pretty much done for -- I should have better anticipated Van violating our NAP without warning.

We had no NAP. I offered one many turns ago and got no responce from you whatsoever. Taking this as a sign of hostile intent, i prepared to make war.
I am sorry about attacking while you are having 'puter troubles, but given the nasty aspect of your stinky swamp dominion i cannot loiter about catching diseases.

My reply must have gotten lost. Oh well. I'm probably quite dead by now. You may as well set me to AI if you havn't already. Sorry to everyone for the stales and slow turns.

Re: ctis turn
Hello? Is there anybody out there? I've seen no new turn, and no explanation posted.
I'm getting a Twilight Zone kind of feeling about this game, and I was hoping someone could answer these questions:
Is there another forum where conversations about this game are happening? This weekend the game was again taken off of the timer, only this time without any request that I saw. Why?
Tyrant posted recently asking a similar question, but now his post has disappeared. Why?
Who is playing R'lyeh? Folket's request for contact info implies he is trying to take back over his country. Is this the reason for the delay? Please let Cainehill continue to play if Folket cannot connect so that we can make some progress.
If Oversway wants to go to AI, doesn't he have to make the change on his end, rather than having our kind host do it?
Has anyone heard from Machaka as to why his turn isn't in?
Finally, is anyone else as frustrated as I am about the appallingly slow pace of this game? This is my first net game ever, as opposed to a locally hosted one, and I find it excruciating to play so slowly. Is this the norm for net games? If it is, I will try to chill out and wait. But really, this is ridiculous!
Thanks in advance to anyone who can answer my questions.

Slooowww game
I'm with you on this also. This is a very slow game, and we're only around turn 25 or something. In another game I'm in (RAND2) we are hosting twice a week, but that's because we're up to turn 73 or so and 2 turns a week is fine for that stage of the game. Yet this game is almost slower than that one now.
Oh well, I think once Dom 3 comes out and MP games are started for that there will be very few delays in those games.
