Re: Ever been squished like a pimple?
Just at a guess, it looks like they got reset to the "default" center position that units are in if you don't move them. I took the turn a couple days ago, so I wouldn't swear on a bible, but I'm pretty sure they were all placed near the back row, inside a large block of chaff (behind heavy infantry). Their actual placement ended up being a good 10 feet in front of any blockers.
Oh well, pretty terrible turn but I'm not quite throwing in the towel yet.

Re: Ever been squished like a pimple?
System maintanence again. Sorry I'm taking so long for my turns, I've had family in town and I'm pretty full up with work.

Re: request for pause
I'm going to Texas for part of next week so I was going to turn off the HI anyway - I'll just turn it off now.

Re: request for pause
if it's possible try to get a turn in before you leave, haven't been many turns lately, a shame really since its getting really intresting.

Re: request for pause
I'll do a turn and another turn before I leave, don't worry.
I expect to be able to play some while in Texas, as well.

Re: request for pause
I took my turn.
Caelum is large and unpleasant - although R'lyeh probably has level 9 in every school of magic - and will have, like, hundreds of star spawn magi, I think it's still a priority to take Caelum down a notch. Marignon and I both have astral pretenders and communions of our own, we can deal with R'lyeh when he awakens from his slumber.
Ulm, meanwhile, is rebuilding his forces because I can't send my primary armies down there to crush him . I'll try and take another turn late tonight before I go to bed, and then I'll hopefully be able to take a few turns from my Hotel in Texas - I don't know the internet situation.

Re: request for pause
I think I have been fighting a pretty respectible defensive battle here. Been intense for me.

Re: request for pause
I have some work to do on the machine, will have to restart several times. I'll post a message here when the new turn is ready (at which point the server will be stable for a while.)
