Re: Turn 29
I used to think that a unit with five afflictions was really unusual. I just witnessed a Niefel Giant with eleven. I'm not kidding. And it's cursed. All it needs now is a horror mark to win the Special Olympics.
Perforce reckons and the Shroud has chosen to addition the above testament to the public at large, should the rumourmongers spread far enough:
The three famous Niefels are alone and loose in our domain. They being: Ae, Hrafn, and Lodur. Alone. And blundering about like raiders of no import. They can only damage empty provinces and temples, scooting around like little unswaddled babies. If any of you would like to strike down the giants, now is the time, as their primary force was destroyed. Their Northern regions aren't as well protected. Or so the story goes. Oceania has remained uninvolved, mysteriously.
And welcome to the conflagration, Marverni. See how Mictlan is broken, and go through me, with permission, as their forces are weak without the Niefel hosts' support, now.
Their capitol is at hand if you are speedy.

Re: Turn 29
Cost of 20 Sauromancers - 4000 gold.
Gem cost of "Terror" - 0 death gems
Cost of watching elephants trample their own army in fear - priceless.
(shame about my one mighty empire being in ruins though )

Re: Turn 29
Some of my elephant had -11 morale at one point in that battle. Kind of impressive.

Re: Turn 29
Sorry for the delay, folks... waiting on Niefelheim, whose turns take quite awhile (understandably, I suppose.. he has to micromanage all those absurd Niefel Jarls).

Re: Turn 29
Yes well.... as soon as you start to hit them with fire, Micah slaps items that grant fire resistance on 'em... so don't feel too bad about it =)
