I thought we had already decided to break for the Holidays. Oh well, finals are over, delaying going home for one day isn't a big deal, and it would be fun. I'm up for it.

So, it's 6 AM and I click on the wrong bookmark. Damn glad I did. I'm totally up for another session, and it'll provide an opportunity to say bye to douglas in person, eh?

I go ahead and vote for myself. Since I already have a vote, I don't want XP to go to waste.

Back from dinner, in case anyone who's looking here isn't online there.

Re: OT: Narf has gone looney and wants to GM.
Server closed.
One CR 13 Thought Slayer slain, one ghost driven off, one town restored... mostly... one puzzle solved.
One vote for Kibin on roleplaying last week, so 1000 Xp to Kibin.
2000 XP to Kibin for solving the polymorph puzzle, 1000 XP each to Derrel, Kaylin, and Elorin for implementing it.
750 XP each to Derrel, Kaylin, and Elorin for monster slain.
No XP for Jason this session (he's been indisposed recently....)
Total gains: 3000 xp for Kibin, 1750 each for Derrel, Kaylin, and Elorin.
Log attached....
Oh, and who roleplayed best this session?

Wondering something. Why do you talk to yourself?
Anyway, I vote for Kaylin, and her wondering why I suddenly like books.

Re: OT: Narf has gone looney and wants to GM.
Are you referring to my mentioning that Jason didn't get any XP last session? If so, mostly it's so I have a record of it. Also helps me keep track of how far ahead or behind the characters that don't spend XP are from Jason, in case someone asks.
Are you referring to the conversations NPC's have with each other? If so, well, it's part of a DM's job.
Are you referring to the little whispers I make to myself during the gaming session? If so, it serves a couple of purposes; someone who checks can then note that I'm not just being arbitrary on what works and what doesn't (such as the scrying attempt on the Ghost, or Derrel's Detect Evil vs. the possesed critter), to make little notes to myself in case I read through the log later looking for things I can build off of or to make sure I'm not accidentally cheating the party on the mechanics, and to roll dice that the party wouldn't know about (a handful of Jason's Rejuvination delays, for instance, or the variations in mass production on those Necklaces of Adaptation picked up at the Mine).
