Re: OT: Narf has gone looney and wants to GM.
So...Can I take a feat to use Int for my attack bonus, instead of Str?
Say, 'Weapon Tactics' instead of Weapon Finesse.

I think Jack Smith already said no. Since that would be a bit too powergamey. It would give you another dump stat.

Re: OT: Narf has gone looney and wants to GM.
Server online.
Today's Random: [100d20] -> [1,5,11,13,10,5,8,12,10,5,19,5,3,10,15,18,
16,10,5,20,9,13,17,6,6,16,7,9,11,2,10,10,20,17,13, 18,4,12,17,17,12,19,
17,5,19,17,14,14,8,12,14,10,15,18,6,6,2,2,15,17,13 ,9,11,9,10,9,5,20,6,
12,13,7,15,3,18,9,3,9,7,18,12,5,12,16,10,16,6,6,15 ,6,13,7,7,17,17,14,
10,15,10,18] = (1115)
Druid in today? I think I can manage that - hmm... would this druid hate being stuck in a city, or not..... hmm... don't have a motive prepared for the character, though... perhaps ordered by the local King....
That would end up making the character a little too focused for my tastes; Int to damage, AC, and to-hit? Other than Con, suddenly it becomes about the only stat the character needs. Doesn't taste quite right to me.

Having issues. Just managed to get here to the Robotics meeting. (We're playing from there.)
Edit: Oh fer the love of... Seems like the net filter blocks Jack Simth's server... guess you'd better NPC me while I see if I can get around this.

Re: OT: Narf has gone looney and wants to GM.
I can redirect ports, and you can choose one to use, although it gets a little tricky to arrange for the program to do so (you'll need to specify by IP and port - 67.161.100.231:[some number], which we need to agree on, rather than using the metaserver. What's good?

Aargh, didn't see your post 'til just now. Well... maybe next week? Perhaps sometime we can try to see if we can get a proxy working before next session.

Re: OT: Narf has gone looney and wants to GM.
Happens. I'm working through a resonably good router, so I can redirect ports to my machine fairly simply. What you need to do, is talk with the IT guys, expalin the situation, and either request that the particular port OpenRPG uses by default be unblocked for the session, or that they give you a port you can work through; I think we can make it work either way. Default port is 6674, I think.
