Re: King of the Isle
Aw, sorry to hear that Zeldor. You should advertise on a new thread. "Replacement for Man" or something. Your overall position is actually pretty good, and someone new might be interested in taking over.

Re: King of the Isle
Well, that is not so bad, not a winning or among bigger powers, but with a nice place to live in But that mages are well... you can fight with them and many indie mages there are available, research is nice, but that is simply... boring. It just doesn't compare to MA TC or MA Mictlan, that have big choice, both in armies and mages.

Re: King of the Isle
You may ask Mathusalem or Ubercat if they want to take it.
But I think on this map you have more options than usual (considering all the indie mages and creatures you can recruit or charm, and the summon with them, Man isn't as limited to archers + vine ogre industry as in other games).

Re: King of the Isle
As noted in-game:
Casting services for sale!
Bandar Log will, for a fee in gems, cast the spell of your choice against a province of your choice. Mind Hunts are cheap and effective - why let a lack of national Astral mages get in your way?
Reasonable rates charged - bulk discounts are negotiable.
Forging services also available for the discerning buyer.

Re: King of the Isle
Yeah, but you did not say who were those neighbours you don't want to cast rituals on

Re: King of the Isle
He won't cast on Eriu either then, since we're (still) neighbours. Not that Ermor needs someone else to cast spells against me...

Re: King of the Isle
Fair point - currently my neighbours are Eriu and Ermor. I cannot be hired to cast at them.

Re: King of the Isle
I've postponed by some hours the deadline for me (a surprise visit made me unable to do my turn yesterday and now I'm working, I'll finish it and host tonight).
