Big files...
Jeez... my 2h file is now over 1 meg in size!
I guess those 3 hours I'm investing per turn are finally paying off where it really counts... file size!

Re: Big files...
3 hours ? wow I though my turns took long time. Any specific reason why the timer was restarted ?

Re: Big files...
It was set to something like 52 hours in an attempt to fix it the last time. Rather than trying to remember to reset it the moment it hosts this time I just reset the timer to the correct time.

Re: Big files...
Also I noticed that LA ulm and Manchaka has missed atleast 2 turns in a row. Unless someone heard from them it's probably time to do something. LA ulm is dead and can probably be set to AI, Manchaka is in a decent position so maybe a sub can be found.

Re: Big files...
I shed Lizard tears for LA Ulm. While they were not a powerful race, they were good friends with the Lizards. But when MA Pangaea attacked them, my armies could not render aid to LA Ulm.
One, MA Pangaea also aided me by joining my war against LA Atlantis-better late then never. Secondly my provinces and MA pangaea's are so intertwined, there is no way either of us could defend them from the other.
Additionally there were huge unfought lanka armies on my borders sitting in forts.
These 3 factors added up to the Lizards taking a bystander role in the Pangaea/Ulm war. Though we did kick MA Oceania out of the water so he could not launch an attack on Ulm from the other side. In the end, Ulm had a 1 v 1 war with MA Pangaea-and lost.
Sadly, if Ulm is set to AI they will attack their dear friends the Lizards(:

Do lizard tears work like crocodile tears?
Well ulm was occupying the forests on our border, so we decided to include ulm into our realm, what we now have done. My biggest loss was when my centaurs after defeating ulms army wherent able to storm the castle gate (Skellispam and A Soul Contract where to much for my fatigue 80 cataphracts) so after 50 turns, my army routed and my vine ogres and my manikins dissolved. Otherwise, ulm never offered any real resistance.

Re: Big files...
Part of LA Ulm's problem was 3 mis. It seemed he lost provinces to bad events the entire game. I know many take mis. but i have yet to take even 1 mis in a mp game. And In alpaca i actually took 3 luck-though my interests would have been better served with 3 growth. But it all worked out.
LA Ulm was also played by a new player, but was shielded by me(he was between me and the northern zone border) for much of the game. So he was able to survive long into the game without being at war with anyone. His only other border was pangaea to the east.
Strategically it would have been smart for me to annex Ulm,
but we were friends. And I never kill friends while enemies still draw breath(glares lanka).

Re: Big files...
The rumours of Machaka's demise have been greatly exaggerated. I only missed one turn due to computer/internet issues. The spider kings will return.

Re: Big files...
Hi all,
I just went AI controlled, as I only own my last 4 forts against Agartha.
This was a very fun game. Thanks all for the alliances, treaties, trades and fights!
Next time I'll rush for bane fire

Re: Big files...
It looks like MA Ctis must carry the Banner for the Lizards.
So long cousins....
