Why not let me take them over? /Evil grin.
After all who deserves the spoils of war from Lanka more than the feisty Lizards?

Doh! The normal people I use to put nations in games I am playing in to AI are not around... so anyone not in the game want to do us a favor and flip Lanka to AI? I'll provide the password...

Re: Perpetuality - The 60 Player MegaGame (Signup)
So one of the departing players predicted EA Oceania was going to win the game. That looks unlikely now.
Contenders:
1. LA Ermor-He has 2 globals up. Well of Misery and Soul Gate.
He has several vassal nations tied to his apron stings. Why the clammers have not dispelled his globals is mind boggling to the Lizards. Especially clammers that are at war with him. heh.
2. LA Ryleh-Does not have nearly as many provinces, but has great great potential.
3. MA Agartha-owns the most provinces, and has the golem cult working for him. Will be a tough out.
4. LA Mictlan-Despite the personal crusade of the Lizards to eradicate Blood Nations, some still thrive. But the Lizards have removed the biggest threat of the Blood Nations from the equation_Lanka. And had a hand in the downfall of EA Mictlan as well. There is only so much the lizards can do.
5. The 3 Pangaeas-It is not coincidence that Pangaea thrives in all 3 versions. High hps, High MR, stealth, blood, earth attacks, forge, goh etc. Though it is doubtful one will emerge the victor.
Notes: Pythium-their very slow out the gate start has crippled what could have been a front runner for the title.
MA Ermor-Could be a viable threat to the crown. Not enough information on them to make an intelligent decision.
There are still a few nations manned by new players that still live because bigger fish have been fighting each other.
I think the Game storms into the endgame after EA Oceania falls. It has been a relatively quiet game for the 1st 80 turns. Look for that to change during the next 40 when the top guns unleash hell upon the world and drive the pretenders into oblivion.

Re: Perpetuality - The 60 Player MegaGame (Signup)
While flattering to be placed on the top 5 list I think the chances of me pulling off a win at this point rate considerably below god-awful. I've been staving off death competently enough for awhile now, but the number of tartarians tromping around what used to be my heartlands means I'm only going to be around as long as I'm useful to my wise and handsome neighbors. At this point the best I can hope for is to be sandwiched between LA Ermor and LA R'yleh's dominions while they are otherwise occupied. Joy.
My bet at this point is LA R'yleh takes the win, though after watching EA Oceania's meltdown I certainly wouldn't consider anybody a shoe in if enough people team up on them.

Re: Perpetuality - The 60 Player MegaGame (Signup)
I would bet also on LA Rlyeh, ermor looks strong, but he will end up in the middle between LA Rlyeh, MA Agartha and then his vassals will turn against him very fast. But if Ermor wont be ganged soon, his tartarians will make quite an impact, also his soulgate freespawns are better than the ones of LA Rlyeh or my maenads.
And there is also a nation of lizards sitting in the northeast, that Xietor miraculously missed in his toplist of nations, as the endgame is very tartarian dependent MA Ctis should not have a too hard time get loads of them into battle.
btw. why has lategame always to be about who will get the most tartarians?

Re: Perpetuality - The 60 Player MegaGame (Signup)
In the Epic Heroes game I did an experiment and attacked Lolomo's best equipped tartarian gate with an SC of my own. The Tartarian died in 3 rounds taking 99 points of damage in the 1st round of combat-despite having mistform up.
Tartarians are awesome, but I will not win any games with tartarians. There are good counters to tartarians. And the few I have all have afflictions out the wazoo since i was never able to get GOH up.
No, MA Ctis is just biding his time until one of his more powerful nations looks around and notices he still exists.
Then I am afraid it will be a quick exit for the underpowered Lizards(:
Oh! And the Lizards are not in the NE corner. Apparently geography is not a strong point of the Centaurs.

Well, there are lizards there, but not the same ones you keep as pets.
