Re: god im tired
Tauren,
Thanks for all your hard work, and the new turn. I can attest that I have no problems with my start. Hopefully, no one else will either, and we can actually get to a Turn 2 sometime soon... though I've gotten pretty good at playing Turn 1 by now Silly Dom2 gods-of-starting-positions and their malicious sense of humor.

Re: god im tired
Thanks, Tauren, for keeping us in mind. And congratulations on yr graduation.
My start is fine--no one in sight. I should have known my last start was too good to be true. I still have beachfront property (hurrah), but it's in the rugged section of town. I was next to the lake, now I'm next to the ditch.
Like Zen, my momentum was entirely lost, but these few messages (and a new turn) have perked it up again.

I'm looking forward to seeing it. I was thinking of playing Ermor, but I couldn't get any ideas for the "all dead, all the time" themes. I was half thinking of doing some kind of Shakespearean tragedy for the BE theme.

Yarnspinners II: The raveling
Sorry it took so long. Ive been kinda busy with graduation, so I didnt have alot of time to mess with things. But now thats over, and I look forward to reading all the stories.
I took the time this morning to check out everyones turns, and which province they are in. The specstarts worked. So, we are up and running. For real this time.
The deadline for turn 1 will be on wednesday, friday for turn 2, and next monday for turn 3. I will host if I recieve all the turns before that, but will not move up the deadlines. That way you can write the yarns over the weekend. (You are writing yarns on turn 3, right?)

Re: Yarnspinners II: The raveling
Why don't we have the first turn due on Monday? That still allows "Turn 3" turns to be written over the weekend, just after the turn has actually run.

Re: Yarnspinners II: The raveling
I second the motion.
For me, when the divisible-by-3 turns fall is not of much importance. The muse doesn't pay much attention to the calendar.
What would a muse be like as a pretender? Research bonus? Increases turmoil? Produces random gem? hp fluctuates wildly from turn to turn? Disappears for 5 turns then comes back and pretends nothing happened?

I add my concurrance with this plan. The turns will run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday under this schedule. The yarns will then be due each Monday. Sounds like a good idea to me.
That is, if this game ever gets off the ground. It took me a while this morning to remember what the heck I am planned to do anyway...
