An enslavement cast upon a super combatant is a method of destroying all of its equipment, which is good news if you don't intend to win the battle.

Yep, the first time Bogus's bunch attacked one of my provinces I killed them and took the loot. The SECOND time his bunch attacked my provinces (they really must not like me) I just enslaved them (they make good bodyguards). Didn't get any items the second time.

well lets say, you raided my provinces, you sieged my capitol, and your blizzards are killing my population, do you call that peace? I can see your troops, and they are weak and low on numbers, so i will just conquer you and then there will be peace between us for ever.

Heh, if you manage to charm a member of Bogus' merry band, don't get too attached to them. You might be in for a surprise if "Heroes attack" event fires again for another province.

I'm getting a weird display error where only half of my mages are showing up on the main screen. This means I can't move them or give them new orders.

Is there a way to re-download my turn without setting off a cheat detection flag?

I believe you can just go to your savedgames folder, then this game folder (Radiance), and move the .trn file out of that folder and to somewhere else. Then when you connect to the server it should download the turn again. Probably wouldn't hurt to move both the .2h and .trn file out of that folder just in case (so it's empty).
