Oh, and no one has mentioned anything about new heroic abilities. They are interesting.

Definitely an interesting new ability.

Oh, there is more of those, but hopefully Endo will leave some as surprise.

I'm not going to post any new ones. I might, if they can name one - but probably won't. Unless they manage to quess one! Only one of them is mentioned on the dom3progress page, AFAIK, and even it isn't mentioned to be a heroic ability.

Re: Screenies!
If you hadn't been so awesomely cooperative in posting all these screenies so far Endo, I'd call you a tease.
(Psssst. Give us something Machaka. Preferably spider-y.)

Ah, but I haven't posted many of the really good things.
About Machaka - there isn't much to give. They now have FEDN randoms. Sorceress has the new, interesting 0? random - 10% chance of FEDN, only FED for most. They have some more heroes, but I've kept heroes mostly off-limits. There's also the new pretender, but as it's the ONLY new national pretender Machaka gets, I won't post it. Not the description, at least. However, it's one of the best-looking pics I've seen in Dom3 yet, so I'll post a picture. It's a screenshot straigth from the map view, BTW, and not resized outside the game (I used </> to resize the commander icons into as big as I could), pasted into Gimp and saved as a jpg.

Re: Screenies!
You are a cruel, cruel man. Both for your mention of the -really- good things and for your refusal to post the descrip.

It would've been crueler if you'd seen the big things first, and the strangest things first (have I mentioned LA R'lyeh heroes? They are strange.), and when you got the game you'd be disappointed in "just" having Caelians that look really, really good, or monkey people, or few new national spells. My job is to keep your interest up. I'm allowed to have fun in the meantime.
Sorry, I'm not a member. You'll have to have your vengeance in a more modern manner.
However, as I mentioned earlier, I've also felt the need of having to know very resently. Illwinter is an evil master.

*chuckle* I understand all of those things and appreciate the skill with which you're doing your job. I just have to let the frustration vent in productive fashion every now and then.
I'm enjoying the slow crawl to release and the various info releases along the way. I can already tell that the first weekend that Dom3 hits is going to be a lost one, regardless of anything else going on in my life.
