I find it odd that I'm doing better under the water against EA Oceania than I am on land...

Well, pritty much all my underwater assets have been busy trying to deal with R'lyeh, while the aboveground teleport-caple SC's you're dealing with on land didn't have any worhtwile R'lyehans to target until recently. It's as simple as that, really.

There are actually not many players left that have over 5 provinces.
The Winds of War have picked up. A storm is coming. While the Lizards desire peace, that elusive state has eluded us thus far. No peace for the Lizards this game.

LA Mictlans demise is an example, why weaker nations should never become the puppet state of a bigger empire, as they usually die doing their masters bidding.

Re: Perpetuality - The 60 Player MegaGame (Signup)
I'd rather suggest LA Mictlan's demise is an example of what happens when weaker nations gets sandwiched between the three biggest superpowers in a 60 player MegaGame. Kicked in the nuts by one then the other...all three offered me friendship at one point but you can only play both ends of that for so long when they're at each other's throats (which is, in fact what ends up getting you kicked in the nuts repeatedly). End game dominions is not something you have a lot of control over unless you're already holding a big stick by that point.

Well you played well with a bad hand I would say. Not easy starting on that small island and being surrounded by strong water nations.

Re: Perpetuality - The 60 Player MegaGame (Signup)
On a positive note, there are about 100 less storm demons and demon knights terrorizing the land, and I am trying to decide if some of these Lanka mages are worth the gor cost?
Killing Lanka off is community service. MA Ctis is opening a
bazaar with fine food-featuring all sorts of demon dishes. The food is free, but charitable donations of nature gems will be graciously accepted.
All told, the war with Lanka has cost the Lizards 100,000 gold, 400 d gems, 400 e gems, and 400 nature gems. Piddly amounts to be sure to the superpowers, but very draining on the tiny Lizard Empire.

Well, I just came home from a fun friday-evening going out, and I won't look at my turn till tomorrow, but this sure sounds like I want to see it.
@ Baalz: Aye, your position wasn't the easiest one, but you certainly managed to be a pain in the ***. Upon being jumped by 4 different nations the logical move (I think) was to try to take out one of the less powerfull ones as fast as possible, to free up one front and then use those freed up resources against the big guys, but you managed to annoy and delay me so much that my position was a lost one before you succumbed.
In my (not too big) MP career we came accross each other twice now, and both times I was clearly the stronger nation, but both times you showed me you could do a lot with limited resources. I'm looking forward to the time we actually manage to face each other on equal terms, I think it will prove quite a challenge.
