In my personal experience macs tend to have a lot of bugs. For Example, I took a graphics class that used G4s, (They played Quake 3 like a dream) but when I tried to use Photoshop v5.5 or Illustrator v8.0 it always tended to run out of RAM, or just kick me out of the program for not reason. When I went surfing the net for graphics some places on the internet would make it crash.
My brother-in-law works as a graphic designer, and swears by Macs for that work. He had more problems with RAM, etc. on his Wintel platforms than he did on Macs. I also have a couple friends who swear by Macs for computer-generated music.
I agree that Mac uses RAM differently than Wintel platforms, and tricks that work for Wintel don't work on Macs (I found that out the hard way while helping my mother with the Mac she had to use at her office).
As for browser crashes, that could be related to all the websites that use Microsloth tools to create the pages, which adds in all sorts of non-standard things that non-Microsloth browsers can't handle very well. Yet another way to maintain a monopoly...

You mean Frontpage eh? Well, I use straight HTML, and then I looked at Frontpage 2000 code. It did have some junk at the beginning that didnt mean much of anything, but it made pretty good code, if you ask me. Still, I'll almost always use HTML in Notepad.
And now that I have a wonderful book (drools over the Designs Patterns book...) I can see how you can write one code, and set it up so you can easily port it. Its terribly complicated and uses a lot of work with classes and OOP and interfaces, but its worth it. I wonder if Aaron has this book...

Re: se4 on Apple????
Most of the Microsloth problems are in Java, where they've added some extensions that aren't recognized by browsers using standard Java. I think MS has also added some delimiters for tables and image placement.
As a "for instance", I can't view e-cards on the Hallmark website unless I use IE.

Re: se4 on Apple????
I only use IE, so I wouldn't know about that stuff. I once used Netscape, and I really don't see much difference speedwise or crashes, its about the same. Then again that was an older Version of Netscape, so I don't know.
Yeah, at a college thing I went to once a while back used macs for graphics, but they're all gone now.
