Re: Star Trek : Quadrants of Conflict 2
Had just finished with reading the Cleansing story again.
And came up with the folowing :
Planets :
All races start with an medium sized planet.
Except :
- Bajoran: Large Planet (the cleansing didn't hit them, so are probably higher developed and have an higher population count and the Bajorans are allowed to use the Federation tech Trait)
- 8472: Large Planet (They are originated from an other dimension so the Cleansing didn't affected them)
Warppoints (Transwarp Conduits) :
The Conduits we're created by the Borg, So it's only logical for me that they created them in in their own favor. So I will change the map (just slightly) with the Borg homeworld possesing some long distance WP's.

Re: Star Trek : Quadrants of Conflict 2
hi!, it would be great for the turns to be 60 hours because it's gonna be extremely difficult for me with 48 hours turns, but if not possible don't worry.

We're the borg, lower your shields and surrender your ships, we will add your technological and biological distintiveness to our own your race will adapt to serve us, resistant is futile.

Re: Star Trek : Quadrants of Conflict 2
I suggest 48 hours turns for the first 15-20 turns, when things become more difficult to handle and manage switch to 60 and later maybe even 72. In the QoC game im playing a minor race ranked #9 but it still takes long to play a turn. I dont how about big empires like the dominion and species 8472 but i guess they spend a lot of time.

Re: Star Trek : Quadrants of Conflict 2
I suggest 12 hour turns for the first 50 then 48 hour turns for the next 100 turns, then 120 hour turns there after.

What Rag-X said is a good suggestion.

Sign me in for Bajorans
We are frome different time zones so 24h turns are minimum, I think.

Re: Star Trek : Quadrants of Conflict 2
What's the difference in game terms between a major race and a minor race? Perhaps this is something made clear in the mod, but I'm not fluent with the mod.

Re: Star Trek : Quadrants of Conflict 2
Major races have their own shipsets and tech trees. For example I will be the Dominion with all their great Dominion flavoured weapons. Meanwhile the poor little Nausicaans, who are in the grand scheme of things a minor race, have to make do with generic ships and technology. In Qconflict1 major races also got huge worlds, instead of us poor minor leaguers getting mere large worlds, but that's not happening this time.
