Just took a look at your race and tested it in my game. It plays pretty nice.
I love the shipsets. They are awesome. Keep up the good work.

Thank you all for being so supportive. It really jazzes me, and I'm sure all the other budding artists, to get the feedback.

Good call, I noticed that as well and have made the changes to the race files. I'll release an updated Version in about a week (along with some other tweaks) to give me time to collect more feedback and incorporate the changes into one solid update.
Changes so far include:
-Adding in more names to the design name list.
-Changing the race's charistics to include an attack bonus.
-Alteraion of the vehicle build list to make them play stronger in the early game.
-Changed missile and PD research to occur earlier (for planetary defense)
Again, Thanks for all the feedback so far, and please keep it coming! Strong AI's are what make this game great.

Alpha, tell me about it. Wiz8 is damn annoying , still stuck in that damn tree part, don't even want to think of going near the swamp again. Ugh!. (still, it is amazing how far these things have come since Bards Tale I....)

I will not spoil your fun, except to tell you that there are far more dangerous places awaiting you than the swamp.
Yes, they have come a long way from Bards Tale, or Wiz1 for that matter.

Ah yes... I can remember my Wizardry days, Version ONE.... Lesse... TILTOWAT spells, basic black and white screens, 5 1/4 inch disks that really taxed the system, now THOSE were the days.

Woo-Hoo!
BFG meet space empires IV! (well, I did know about the Orks, but each time a new 40k race comes out i'm opening a few new bottles of champaigne) BTW, I and a friend of mine are working on a system-by-system map for an eventual pure BFG game, with eldar, orks, etc. it will probably be part of a mod so that eldar will live on craftworlds etc...I will keep you posted if you are interested, but it is going to be a while, as I am working on a warworld (jerry pournelle) mod right now to hone my skills for the grand test.
anyway, thanks for making such a cool shipset, and good luck.
