Playing now at the hardiest level after the 4th battle i have over 600 build/repair points.
Of course the temptation to simply click the "fix all" button is irresistable like a monkey on your back saying just DO IT!
Then i think is this realistic?
Would a force be able to repair all vehicles and heal all men magically with all restored to full strength?
Tanks and vehicles waiting on parts and men recovering in the hospital (waiting on more B/R points)would be the norm.
Why not have another level with smaller B/R points?

Could take this game to another level of realism.

You can always dial the repair points down to, say 10% or even 5%. I've thought of doing that when simulating "behind enemy lines."

what i do is playingsomething like operations. since it is very unusual for a unit to fight continously over a whole i say a row of battles represents one big battle over maybe 3 days. then my unit is drawn out of the fight and replacemnts come in.

So i only get reeinforcments every month and tanks are more or less random and not always the newest stuff.

i t is hard to constrain yourself but it makes a much better playing experience.

Also one should try playingthe polish or other minor nations like romania. i will do thsi afterthe german 200 battle campaign

In the preferences menu. I don't fully understand what you mean when you say "after selecting a level." As far as I know, you can only change the preferences during a campaign in the "repair/expand" screen. After you leave that screen I don't believe you can change it. The other thing is to start a campaign, go into the preferences and change it at the very beginning.

Note - If any of this information is wrong, I have every faith that someone much smarter than me can and will correct it for the good of all interested.

Campaign difficulty level (level of repair) is set at the very start of the campaign.
