Re: Another 40k Chaos shipset
I've dabbled with getting a 40k mod going myself, but found I didn't have the time. However, If there is interest in a 40k mod, in addition to this purple chaos set set I can spin off variants in Red (World Eaters), Green (Death Guard), Blue (Thousand Sons, alpha legion, Night Lords), and Grey (Iron Warriors / Black Legion).
Also, the Drushaka are close enough to a Nid set that they can be used as a proxy in a pinch, though Nids would be pretty easy to to.

Re: Another 40k Chaos shipset
I've seen the Tau set, and I think I remember a Necron set out there somewhere. No offense to their creators, but they were mostly cut-and-paste jobs... kinda crappy.
I do remember that John Beech of the Universal Shipyards was working on an Eldar set a looooong time ago. The preview renderings looked really good. View Image Here Too bad he never got around to finishing it.
Emperor's Child, different color variations would be great. Maybe some of us could even create different AI's so they would behave like different Chaos factions.

Membership is free and a good idea anyways, so you can easily play SE4 in multiplayer.
You can get the set here .

Why cant it be uploaded somewhere else?

There are plenty of places to upload a set. My recent experience of wikifying shipsets indicates that most sets are hosted in at least two different places. Also, the wiki doesn't actually host any full sets- it just catalogues them, along with every other scrap of SE-related knowledge in the universe, ever.

And anyone know where the 3D viking shipset it?
|
The author emailed it to me, and I said I'd host it, but haven't got round to that bit yet so it's not actually publically available anywhere, as far as I'm aware. I probably ought to put it up on PBW or something, but in the meatime anyone who wants it can email me and I'll send it that way. My email address for all se4 stuff is se4@[insert my forum name here].co.uk
