Re: Global War (started!)
Could be those players simply skipped making passwords and in that case it ain´t susch a big deal.
If passwords have disappeared somehow then of course we´d have to restart.

Re: Global War (started!)
I'm one of these players. I do not remember skipping a password in the last
four years I've been playing Dom 2/3. Using catgod, Minevra shows a password.
It's possible I uploaded an earlier version, but seriously, do you want to ask
yourself, every turn, whether someone will blank your orders, or peek at your
position? I know I do not, and if 3 of the first 3 nations are unprotected,
what are the chances they are the only ones?

Re: Global War (started!)
In that case I might second a restart. But it would require redesigning and resending all pretenders with no password = big delay again.
I don´t think I would be that worried about abuse really. I trust the participants. I have another game without password and I dont worry a bit. Still I guess it could make a lot of bad feelings if accusations of abuse were thrown around the forum, might be better to be secure.
Lets hear some more opinions on this.

Re: Global War (started!)
To make things easier during the restart, CU should have people email him their pretenders, as to not have to deal with the interface bug.

Re: Global War (started!)
fine with restart.
question if we do restart - my capital was on a wasteland - not sure if that was intentional but most MP games I have been in capital is at least a plain province or better.

Love a restart here. By the time the game began, I'd be back from my trip! ; )

Re: Global War (started!)
My password poofed too but I trust people. If you cheat to win you actually lose not to mention that IP's are tracked with access times so you would also be banned from playing any games of MP. (If that isn't the case, keep quiet! Let em sweat!)
I'm good either way.
