Re: My unofficial Dom3 trailer
Maybe you could cut together a series of movement selects (you know, the arrows that move towards a province), and as the arrows hit the province on the map there could be an effect that makes it look like the map cracks.
The music and sound were picked well, but you might want to consider removing that homemade laugh at the end. Considering the tension you're trying to build it's best not to have it end with something that makes it sound like it was all a joke
I can't tell how much effort you put into it of course, so I might be suggesting things too hard to do...

i love you trailer, great work. How do you did those "camera fly over landscape" sequences ? Is ist a function of the graphic setup from dom3 ?

Battleground editor, press space to hide the menu, use arrow keys to move.
I like the in-game scenes and the music although it's not from Dom3, and I can see the blue Abysians. I don't like the licensed material (300 most notably, as it has been overused on the net) and the page-flipping transition animation. Simple transitions like fade to black/white or just no transition at all works better, I think, look at e.g. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxGlZ_vpkS0

Yea, I used a bit too much 'non-dom3' material, but mainly because dom3 hasn't much to use in a trailer. Plenty of things for a gameplay-video but I believe that trailers should show more atmosphere and/or storyline of a game.
Anyway, thanx for the constructive criticism. It helps alot

Re: My unofficial Dom3 trailer
It could be better, but it's nice to see someone actually do a trailer.
I'm currently studying 3d modeling for games. It will include animation projects. Once I'm good at it, I'd like to try and do a Dom3 trailer that uses 3d-models made by referencing sprites and such. It will take two years or so, probably. It'
