Re: MP Game - European War
I'm thinking to take either Vanheim or Pangaea; Vanheim's a bit more thematic for Europe, but....

I'll take Vanheim if Cainehill doesn't, otherwise I'll make some other choice. But either way, count me in

Re: MP Game - European War
And we're off. The first turn will host in 48 hours, or as soon as everyone finishes.

Hmm. Server doesn't seem to be there. Anyone else get in?
68.148.43.237 port 5555 right?
Edit: Never mind, 3rd try it went through.

48 hr quickhost

What happened to 48 hr quickhost? I almost had a stale because it's now set to 24 or some such, and after the turn running today there's now only 18 hours to go.
If Pythium or Pangaea staled (they also only had 4 hours left) it's because the hosting was changed.

The hosting was on 48 hr quickhost. Last night, I rebooted the server with 20 hours left before the deadline, and after 28 hours had passed from the Last hosting. There is no way to tell the server to run the next turn at a maximum of 20 hours, then switch to 48 hours after that, so I have to set the time between hosts to whatever is needed for the rest of the turn.

Re: MP Game - European War
A New Month.
Buffy, 3rd-Tier Pleasure Nymph was recently wondering at the Pretender from Pythium. Apparently she had recently visited him at his palace for a oiled massage (Massage those Godaches away) and he had paid with credit which was mysteriously stopped payment.
She was quite miffed and so we must know the details!

Re: MP Game - European War
Details? Well - you know how it is. The Inquisition saw a purple flag, and knew that it was the undead vileness of Ermor. As it turned out, they confessed (oh how they confessed!) to sheltering the undead, using a tax shelter to fund massages, slaying JFK, and voting for Perot.
It was good for the junior inquisitors to see such evidence of the Inquisitions infallibility - not like earlier times, when they witnessed the attack of a purple flag which was not properly overcome. Remember - on a good day, even an orange flag can look purple.

Re: MP Game - European War
New Turn.
The Pangaean Council is quite unhappy with their Boney Neighbors who persist in dragging their sickly, ugly dominion around their land, then have the arrogance to start building *TEMPLES* near our border as if our Dominion were encroaching. This is a verbal warning to the heathens of Ermor to keep their cold, dead, slothful and turmoil laden ways to themselves and not try to push it upon the peaceful groves of Pangaea. The Heart of the Oak is strong and for long has the Mother held ready hand of the wild to those who wish to prey upon our inhabitants.
