Aaron listed all the people working on se5 in the chat session, read the chat logs to find their names. Really, I'm surprised you haven't allready.

P.S. the links to the chat logs are in the '#se4 chat' thread.

Re: New SE5 pic.
FYI During the CHat session this is what Aaron listed as the SE5 Dev Team..
Aaron Hall is doing 'Most of the programming' (I wonder who he's hiding. )
David Gervais is lead artist working on UI, eye candy, etc.
Tim Spanjer and crew are back on this project creating ships models.
Shane Watson is on board creating the race portraits.
John Beech is creating Facility models.
Cheers!

Rarely do you get anything other than monthly with real web hosting service (Geocities type affairs do not count). It is actually a bug in the software which tracks the bandwidth. All better now though.

Re: New SE5 pic.
That image is very nice. I am pleased with the images thus far, they are alot better then I expected to say the least.
Clark, here is the archive for the session. Chat Logs The two sessions are of course the most recent at the top.

Re: New SE5 pic.
Thanks! I had just found it and was reading it... looks mightry interesting.
David, or someone else (because I simply can't be bothered ) tell Araon he is doing a fantastic job and that he needs to make sure to include one thing...
The ability to record a battle.
Think about it, trading battle video's of the greatest (or worst) fights of all time. I think someone mentioned the option in the chat, but I don't recall it being addressed.
no need to record every battle, just make it an option for those battles you want to see. (might be a solution for PBW to, since you could see how the results were achieved!)

Re: New SE5 pic.
I think it's possible to record battles right now
I remember something about software which is able to record everything that happaned on you screen (the main purpose was to make presentations) and to dump it to AVI, EXE or SWF. Unfortunately, I don't remember titles or company names. Search in the net for this. I pretty sure you'll find what you need.
[Edit: ok, found it]
CamStudio 2.1 - free.
Small note: this is older Version of this tool - latest Versions belong to Macromedia and called RoboDemo, and they're shareware.
