If it choked on a turn previously processed with an earlier version, how would you ever upgrade any game? You wouldn't be able to at all.

The other alternative would be that I could run the host pre-patch, and players could open the pre-patch turn after upgrading on their PC's. I would then have to update the host for it to interpret the post-patch orders.

But, I like it better this way, because I, as host, can set the host patch level, and people will not be able to submit until they get with the program.

LOL Fyron - 99.99% of games have backward compatibility after patching? I have got some sweet karma coming my way then...
