Re: OT - Favorite TV shows
Lets see...here's a list of our (mine and Richard's) must see TV shows, in random order:
24, Battlestar Galactica, Deadliest Catch, Lost, Jericho, Stargate SG1, Dr. Who, American Chopper
We're also somewhat of reality tv game show addicts although we don't watch as many as we used to...currently still like watching American Idol, Survivor, The Amazing Race, Last Comic Standing and we want to check out On The Lot and Pirate Master which both premiere in the next week.
We also seem to have unique tastes because in the last couple of seasons a lot of new stuff we really liked got cancelled fairly quickly such as Daybreak, Invasion and Drive.

Re: OT - Favorite TV shows
24 is very good. Just hate the office politics scenes. Seems like every episode or two someone else comes in to take over and run the place. Hell if I worked there I would tell them to F-Off if they kept changing my bosses every hour.
Jericho is ok but I really don't believe that even if 18 to 30 cities were destroyed that our government would collapse like that. To many redundancies.

Re: OT - Favorite TV shows
Some of my favorites are BSG, Stargate, 4400 and Supernatural. Deadwood was great. I like Amazing Race as well and so does the GF, so we tend to watch that when they show it here.
I've heard enough about 24 and how it has gone down the tubes (from people who used to like it) that I would not even consider watching it, though I once might have.

Re: OT - Favorite TV shows
24 is still a very good show. I just hate the office politics scenes. The casting for the show is spot on and the writing is very interesting. Season 4 & 5 were a blast, and so far this season hasn't disappointed.

Re: OT - Favorite TV shows
The only thing about 24 is that you shouldn't get too attached to the characters because it's a big possibility they will be dead by the end of the season, lol.
I miss Tony Almeda and Michelle Dessler!

Re: OT - Favorite TV shows
Has any one else noticed that people who seem to fall into Jacks orbit end up dead? Thank God Kim got out when she did.

Re: OT - Favorite TV shows
True, and someone made a point about that this season. It seems everyone is always coming after Jack!
Sadly I can add Jericho to my list of 'we always pick shows that get cancelled either after or during it's first season.
