Re: EA Newbie game (PBEM) - Sign Up
My instinct is to do it modless, since it's a newbie game, but I'll read up on it after work.

My 2 cents is that it's actually easier for new players to use Conceptual Balance. The reasoning being that many of the 'pitfall' options new players often spend valuable resources on are improved (things like independent light cavalry, horned serpents, many titan pretenders).

I'd like in as Hinnom
I'm just trying them out and can't even beat the AI so I guess I have somethings to learn, mighty vanheim and helheim dominate me (mictlan helps them too)
I'd not mind CB mod, don't know it really though but what the heck

Aezeal, surely you are too experienced for a newbie game, especially as the powerful Hinnom.

Re: EA Newbie game (PBEM) - Sign Up
i'll play also... i'm busy finalizing my nefelheim pretender for another game today but tomorrow i can work out a pretender for this one..
cbm sounds good since it seems like everyone uses it and stuff might as well learn on it and forget vanilla exists?
oh i thought it sounded clear.. i'll be taking nefelheim unless anyone objects or whatnot..
i've never ever played a MP game but i signed up for one yesterday and i've hosted three small blitzs since then... if this game starts this weekend... i'll probaly have hosted like five casual duels by then but hopefully that still means i'm quite the tenderfoot

It sounds good, I'll look at it tonight, but probably end up leaning on experienced players for a recommendation.
