The demo for Star Fury is just around the corner. I'd also advise you guys who are interested in the game to start checking the Star Fury forum! |

 Ahem, getting back on topic...
Does this mean that beta testers can now give their honest opinions of the game? Has anyone gotten a copy of the game yet?

No, we can't give our honest opinions yet. We still have to lie to you.Quote:

Seriously though, Starfury has turned out to be a pretty darn fun game, and about as moddable as SE4. I'm also sure you artists will enjoy being able to see your ship models actually displayed in realtime 3D, instead of just a static rendered image... I've even made a model of the original Enterprise (Kirk-era) and imported it into the game, so even when the game is released there will be custom ships available. Heck, even a full-blown mod - there's one that SJ created called "SE4-ism" which was originally intended to make the game graphics more consistent with SE4 but soon evolved into a balance-everything-and-add-strategic-depth mod.

So yes, I do think you'll all enjoy this game... oh wait, that wasn't the question? Well who cares anyway?

				 Re: Starfury has gone GOLD!
I did make a few ships for SF, but no one seemed to be able to get them to work. Something to do with the poly count.
They worked fine for me. Oh well. I will keep working on it from time to time.
