Loser, please convert the link in your sig to use an html tag instead of the URL UBB one. The UBB tag breaks when it encounters characters such as % and can not make the hyperlink. The extreme length of it is breaking the page formatting for me.

Re: Expert player looking for challenge, or masochistic Newbie?
Well, I've taken over the empire now. Situation is fairly what I expected. A few systems left and a couple of ships so I can put up some resistance. However I'd appreciate a small truce so I can see what is happening and where. Loser has obviously missed turns so the log, especially combat log, is very loooong.

I didn't miss any turns before I quit. I'm not That Guy. I'm The Other Guy. The one that quits, but does not let turns slip.

You've missed at least one turn since there is at least two turns' worth combat replays. About 50 or so.

Re: Expert player looking for challenge, or masochistic Newbie?
Loser did miss the turn when he quit. Not many serious combats, though.
What kind of truce for how long do you need? I have already given orders for this turn, but no serious advances. I can stop where I am for 1 or 2 turns. Your choice, what time do you think you will need? The remaining planets in systems that are already liberated will be continued to be conquered, of course.
I think Ruatha will wait for your turn before processing, if it is within reasonable time. How long do you think you will need to do this turn?

Re: Expert player looking for challenge, or masochistic Newbie?
Roanon, I'd need a truce about 50 turns to recover but I'll be happy if you stop advancing, say, at 3-5 turns. Yep, no serious battles. Only few ships lost (about 100) and some planets (about 50)
I'm starting to do my turn now but it seems it'll take some time. I don't even want to think how long the turn takes from bigger players.

Re: Expert player looking for challenge, or masochistic Newbie?
a note on my Last post: the image of whiley coyote doing the speach kept popping into my head while i was writing it and i think it makes it funnier.
