Re: Is there a SEIV windows XP theme ?
CW - check your e-mail
EDIT - color is the tricky thing, because what people would consider "SEIV" colors may vary. Like I said, this is a beta, to tweak to your hearts' content.

Re: Is there a SEIV windows XP theme ?
Can you add the blue menu pattern from SE4 into like the start menu and the bottom menu bar?

Re: Is there a SEIV windows XP theme ?
You asked for my suggestions remember
General Woundwort:
"I have a themefile prepared, but I need a place to upload it for betatesting"
Beta testing implies you wish for feedback about what is being tested.
Black Theme is my favorite so far but maybe there could be some more blue and alittle less black.
Like make window backgrounds blue so I can read black text
one more thing, make the buttons in the upper right hand corner blue so they stand out from the title bar better

Re: Is there a SEIV windows XP theme ?
Can someone post a link to a screenshot of this 'theme' in action? I for one would like to see what it looks like before deciding to use it or not.
Q: If I install the theme, is it hard to uninstall? I remember back in WinME I had problems with themes not getting properly un-installed. I don't want to repeat that nightmare in XP.
Nuf said, Cheers!

Re: Is there a SEIV windows XP theme ?
Stupid question from a newbie: how does one install a "theme" for SEIV? Mods I know about, themes...?
And, I would like to say, this theme looks like a piece of pure artwork. It's gorgeous! I must have it...must have it...thank you!

I'll try, but I'm constrained by the options in the Display Properties dialog. I don't have the graphics skills to do a "perfect" SEIV menu look.

It's Windows XP, not SEIV. It's just the package for desktop/window appearance/sounds/cursor/etc. It shouldn't matter where it's located, just browse to it from the theme selector in your diplay properties in WinXP.

CW could probably have an easier time with that than I could at this point (I'm still homepage-less). How would it look? Imagine the SEIV cursors as your Windows cursors, your SEIV intro screen as the wallpaper, SEIV game sounds as your windows sounds, etc. The only prep you'd have to do is install the SEIV fonts into your main windows font folder.

Since this theme doesn't bring any "extra" files with it (it uses the SEIV files already on your computer), it shouldn't have any of those problems.
