				 Re: Review at the Wargamer
I don't care how good their review, or their site is - if they cannot have a page that my broswer can load, I'm not interested.
(whenever I try to follow the link, the only thing I get is an ad, with some text below stating the page should start loading soon. When something loads, it's another ad)

Strange, I didn't get that... well I got the ad the first time, but it went to the review after maybe 15sec. Since then going back to the page doesn't even generate the ad...

Maybe try it again, although you don't really need to see the review since I know you already like the game

Its a long "wait and watch this" animated ad for a game, then it forwards you to the article. You could probably just outwait it if you wanted.

In the bottom right there is a little icon that says "Wargamer" on a little globe. Click that and it will bypass the ad. |

I had first refused to accept their cookies, and my browser is set to permanently refuse them after that, by default.
This loser site is apparently unable to load unless you enable cookies - just to bypass their add. Even clicking on the little "wargamer" globe wouldn't work.

The wargamer is a pretty good and well respected web site.(However, they didn't use to open with advertisements. Annoying.)

Don't be too harsh with them, as everyone they need money ... They make a great support to the wargaming community, and IIRC they nearly closed some time ago due to lack of bucks. Now they've been "taken over" by Matrix, that put some ads.Quote:

 | Nothing very intrusive, and the cookies are harmless.

				 Re: Review at the Wargamer
I didn't even get a cookie notice with that link... it loaded the ad fine, but nothing else. Clicking on the little wargamer link just took me right back to the ad. |
