well i want everything researched asap
for battle:

i normally like guardian lord/dark lord but i wanted to get the ball rolling asap and didn't want to lose a smith(1 extra smith over 50 turns=alot of reasearch)
all my priests are level 2 so they would only be a 3 it was either my scout(which i considered) or my commander, i don't like sending my smiths out to fight until they have researched the proper spells. I also like them to have a couple of axes of sharpness(even if i can't get them flying)
i took drain because i am ulm. order and productivity because i never have enough gold/resources, 1 growth because i had the points, and 1 luck because i like getting those knight heros.
I was told the the earth cyclops doesn't give ulm enough diversity but its the only way i have had success and the game isn't over i just am not sure how i can turn it around(i did wipe out 4 of the ai's and a couple others were wiped out each other)
