Re: Space Empires Websites
Every so often, about two or three times a month, I check Malfador's site, Fyron's site, Tesco's site, and Trooper's site. Occasionally, I look at some other sites too.

Re: Space Empires Websites
Thanks to all the members who responded in the poll. I'm going to take some of your suggestions and apply them to my own Space Empires website as soon as this semester is over. I'll likely start with adding some Mod summaries and reviews, plus a few modding tutorials.
I'm also hoping to get my own domain space, so I'll be able to host downloads as well. This is espeically important since a certain Space Food Empires mod is almost ready for some beta testing.

Re: Space Empires Websites
Sigh...my Ratings site never gets mentioned...
Guess it isn't a "mainstream" sort of site.

Re: Space Empires Websites
Sure it does. I even made a specific news item at my site to plug both your Ratings site and KOTH.

I guess I was referring to the link at the beginning which listed all the sites associated with SE4 (that Atrocities listed).

Re: Space Empires Websites
Wow! Your site is loaded, Kwok!
The navigation works very well (except for clicking the PBW games you are in). I should have a "steady" link bar of sorts on my site(s) as I don't like people to have to scroll to get to the buttons (but I'm too lazy ).
Your "graveyard" ships look quite nice! I (also) don't have the patience for shipsets (nor, possibly, the imagination).

Re: Space Empires Websites
Oh, and I submitted a news item to see how well it worked ( ).

Re: Space Empires Websites
Might I suggest a fancy navigation menu instead? Side panels are so 1994... just kidding. But anyways...

It is really easy to configure, and you get fancy menus like I have on SpaceEmpires.net...

Re: Space Empires Websites
I see that's not a trivial piece of coding there, Fyron. Thanks for the site.

Re: Space Empires Websites
Complicated indeed. The easiest method is to copy the source of one of the demos. Just modify the divs and such defining the menu's parts as needed. It is available under the GNU GPL, so it is free to use (as long as you don't remove the copyright and licensing info):
