If it is happening during game turn, try this, put all of the players on manual and run the turns for them. This should clear up the AVE.

as I said, I can not "make" it happen just dose and then I must exit and reboot to be sure it will not pop up in the next few turns.

I have Windows ME but I have never had that particular error come up. I have had plenty of other kinds of crashes and problems, though.
