				 Sneaking commandos in MBT
Hi; Purchased commandos and want them to infiltrate into my enemies rear but I cannot figure out how to do this in MBT? Questions: is it possible? If so, how? I checked the guide but couldn't find anything on this. Tried the para button on the deploy menu but that didn't work either.
 Thanks.

 Chris,
You can't use this option in WinSPMBT.

Hehe, hardly a waste! It just takes different tactics to use them effectively.... |

				 Re: Sneaking commandos in MBT
 Hi,
Special Forces have better mobility, visibility etc..., thus you may use these units as shock units.

Anyway, the infiltration routine that Chris mentioned, isn't a good aspect of the game (this is why almost all PBEM players state as a rule no infiltrators) because it isn't realistic to suddenly see a unit next to yours deep inside the rear of your lines. The SF operations are not connected with an active battlezone because in such an environment everyone is alerted and infiltration is almost impossible.
The infiltration of the Special Forces is based on the surprise element or the night-factor (visibility 1-2).

 cheers,
 Pyros

 | Instead of pressing a button to infiltrate them behind enemy lines as you do in certain other games, here you have to actually infiltrate them through the lines yourselves. Get fast and small vehicles or use helicopters to get them close to the front line and try to infiltrate the line. The very high experience and morale modifiers should help you keep them unspotted, if you move slowly. Unless of course you run straight into the enemy which is always a risk. If you're really a gambling man, keep them in the vehicles or choppers and use speed to get them through the line. Unload them in the rear and start the sneak towards enemy rear area units.
You can use other units in support, either directly as in fire support, or indirectly by drawing off enemy forces to another part of the line, increasing the chance of succesful penetration. Use artillery to either suppress areas where enemy spotters might be hiding (and reduce their chance of seeing your troops) or use them to create smoke screens. You can create corriders that way for helicopters to fly through unhindered.
Lots of options and tricks possible here. But you should remember that commando tactics in addition to regular combat is hard to combine on the more modern battlefield due to the high speed of events.

				 Re: Sneaking commandos in MBT
another good one Is bying a couple of transport aircraft, and bringing htem in at the end of hte pre-battle bombardment, to grab a forward V-hex. Throw some vehicles out the back of the aircraft as well and you get mobility for them.
Once as a joke a threw a Sqdn HQ Challenger 1 out the back of a C-130, but this was agaisnt my long term opponent, and it caused a laugth.. I dunno, a Cpt in the STS (Specail Tank Service?).
