Well if it makes you feel better there is the theory out there that The Demons crossbred with humans in an attempt at world domination to wipe out the potential blood line of Jesus and so thats what actually led to the flood. So its kinda the same thing

Re: Review of Dominions 3 at Gameology
Thats just because you havent named your pretender that yet..
Someone oughta mod a pretender for him haha He could have the same heal effect as the Chalice and could have an ability to Raise the Dead (Maybe the mummification spell) and smite demons like the cleansing bell. I guess he'd have to be immortal too since he comes back from the dead.

Isn't EA Ermor's "Prophet of the White Shroud" a Jesus equivalent?

I dunno..... Jesus fiction is the entire reason I was avoiding the Bible in the first place.

And yet, weirdly, Ashdod comes out of the flames even MORE awesome than Hinnom was before Abysia burned it.
I enjoyed the article. Good catch on the Monolith--it explains why it has Astral magic built in. I never saw the 2001/Uplift connection before.

Re: Review of Dominions 3 at Gameology
I seem to recall a post that sketched out Dominions history. Anyone have the link?

Ask, and ye shall receive:
Game History thread
Halt Heretic thread
Kristoffer on the same subject in the Gath Dev Diary thread
So that's the unofficial history that has some official support behind the scenes even if going back and changing it is not practically doable in a patch.

Re: Review of Dominions 3 at Gameology
Makes sense. If I were to pick a nation that would have ties to all of that it would be Ermor with its Roman influence. I didnt know anything about the Prophet of the White Shroud though so that kind of makes sense.
