conclusion: if you want to surprise a(n armchair) commander, do not give him aerial images

PS: I hate that 30min edit limit !!

Must admit bunker busting is something I both love & hate always a challenge if they have covering fire, well in WW2 anyway modern army pretty much just targets.

's not a spoiler, I linked here a long time ago an article about Czechoslovakian fortifications I published on Tank-Net... And aynway the Wiki does not cover the given location so no spoiler. But let's let y'all stew for a bit in expecting to go against a wall of 47mm AT guns under three meters-thick layer of concrete

(Note: Planning on making a map with heavy fortifications as well, but that'd have to be a bigger map and in a different part of the country)

Anyway scen design is progressing slowly, will be likely to wait till the WinSPWW2 CD I ordered today will arrive because manual editing of all the bunkers in game editor (had to purchase the British ones to get an icon I'd like) would be a major pain in the posterior. So in the mean time I will be getting other troops together.

Unless some gawddamned nasty scenario designer puts ATGM bunkers in overwatch positions and channels your forces via devious minefields and by giving you just light troops!

They have there uses I use spidy hole & pit type fortifications just not the big bunkers much, wish more OOBs had ATGM pits.
As you say can still be good fun with light infantry & little or no transport & just the odd squad with an RPG or some Engineers. You are back to needing to get the right guys in place now. If its heavily fortified a pair of ATGMs can give long range support, GLs work vs Pits if you can hit them before your ammo goes.

Sorry for hijacking seem to have drifted off the map which I will be taking for a spin next week.
