Re: winSPWW2: Japanese localization project
Ok, here is the finished PDF product from the section "16 UNIT INFORMATION SCREEN", I hope you like it. Just tell me where I need to do corrections. Section "7 MAIN GAME SCREEN" is under way.
Just one small note: it is much easier to do the whole process if you are consistent with putting each and every space between paragraphs and sections, since I can't read Japanese kanji to differentiate between this or that part.

I am a bit lost about replacing those linked texts with // and / . Tell me if I did it wrong.
Enjoy

Re: winSPWW2: Japanese localization project
I'm sorry for awfully too late!(´・ω・`)
I upload section 8, 9, 10 and the game manual in HTML translated into Japanese partly. Note that the partly japanized manual in HTML was changed character encoding into Shift JIS, so some poeple can't read it.
Then, I have several sections I can't understand. The sections are left in English in my translated texts.
From "Purchase Screen"
you want this use it before buying anything as it goes away immediately something is purchased.

As well as 'captured from the enemy', this can be useful for utilising Allied kit not in your OB but with your own nation's crew (and ID flag), rather than the provider nation's.
Especially I can't understand "your OB".
From "Purchase Screen"
The current page and total number of pages is listed below the active button set.
Would you mind telling me about these things?

********* Means set up the number of points you want to use for both sides before you purchase anything otherwise you will not be able to adjust it after you start

********* When you are buying units if you have a nation that has a lot of formations you will see something like "Page 1 of 3" and is above the buttons that appear that say Next formations page or Previous formations pages........ those buttons do not appear unless you have more to choose from than will show on one page

Re: winSPWW2: Japanese localization project
Wohaha! You're doing a great job at translating the HTML file!
I'll tell you a mighty secret: once you are able to create a "translated" source file, it is only one click away to create a translated PDF game guide, even with free software. (Although I doubt that these free PDF tools have the same extensive editing capabilities as Illustrator or the latest installment of Acrobat)
