Here's a little side note:
Played through The Crossing Sweepers but exchanged the Frundsberg units for a reduced Swedish Armoured Brigade (1943 org) by making it an Open Core campaign.
When it was over I didn't want to quit so I added a few of the other Frundsberg Normandy stock scenarios to the campaign to extend it a little longer. I reworked some scenarios that did not have Germany as player 1. Just for fun. Extended the map of an early Cean scenario to max size. Bought some extra units and gave the Allied AI player plenty of air too. Maybe I should not have done that...
The Shermans are basically Tigers to the Swedish 37mm and short 75mm peashooters.
I had intended to play longer but set rules for myself that I would only go on with captured kit and took such losses that this half brigade of mine is mostly burnt out now...
This is an example of how powerful the editing options are in this game, and not too time consuming either - note though that an improvised extension of an existing campaign like I did here will not be balanced...
