Space Empires new Kleenex [MOO3]

Why couldn't they just improve on MOO2??? I've been waiting on this game for years. Now I'm not looking forward to it. This doesn't sound like MOO. I think I'm just going to stay with SEIV and wait on SEV. At least they listen to what their fans want. Quicksilver at first listened and then threw out what the fans wanted for their own garbage.

I had a quick peek over at the web site -- can't we get past the '3 resources' motif already?! How about some special rare commodities, perhaps keep money (I didn't see it, but the earlier MoOs had cash) as a type of resource, etc.
