Re: Gluttony - LA Game - Running
ooc
I vote to start a sub thread asap. Patala is an important spot that'll throw the balance of the game right out if left alone.
We can add a disclaimer that Patala won't be confirmed Mia until tommorrow hosting time (so in 30 hrs or so) in case he comes back, you never know if a player just wants to cut it close.
Otherwise if he really doesn't show and don't think it's worth 30 seconds of his time to give us a heads up then we don't have to feel bad about it.
I would ask someone else to make the thread this time though, mine may get sabotaged.
I can attest to seeing (well, and fighting) rudras, siddhas and the usual 4 armed or lute playing goodies, I think there's a market for late late game patala with all the goodies and very solid position, sub shouldn't be that hard to find.
I've extended for 48 hrs in the interim to resolve the matter.

I read in the other thread that you've found a sub, but who is it?

Re: Gluttony - LA Game - Running
Our new monkey overlord is: Mauxe
Please give him a round of applause!
Do update your diplo with him and help him catch up to speed! I am composing my pm to him as we speak.
the game is hosting in 48 hrs, but considering this is his first turn with a large and advanced empire, I will be offering generous extension on behalf of Gluttony players to our sub to familiarize himself with his empire (no small task) and put all his diplo in order.

Re: Gluttony - LA Game - Running
Anyone heard anything from Mauxe yet?
I've taken the liberty to extend another 48 hrs, I think it's time we call this deadline firm, no further extensions are planned unless Mauxe request for more time to sort out his 1st turn.

Re: Gluttony - LA Game - Running
Sorry for the silence.
I've been taking in the game thread as well as some pm's - and working through a rather involved map.
I was getting on this morning to ask for that 48 hours.
I'll be dome with my turn sooner -by tonight is the plan - I just don't want to get caught.
Thanks for allowing me in btw. From what I have read so far it has been quite an interesting game.

Everyone please update your game to V3.26 patch for Turn 83!
Refer to the following for patch link and background.

A brilliant stroke Agarthans All the while I've been doing the rare small time maneuvers you've been setting up a big stroke, and boy does the stroke hurt. we'd admire your mastermind if we weren't on the receiving end

Re: Gluttony - LA Game - Running
It just occurred to me how far ahead you Agarthans thought it out and it was meant to be right on target (I thought I was unlucky) on the first hit rather then relying on slow attrition and luck!
Damn! That's one brilliant trick! I'll consider my loss a tuition fee. I'd never thought of that!

Re: Gluttony - LA Game - Running
You're giving sansanjuan too much credit here. I'm not saying he isn't a good player, he definitely is. However this has nothing to do with Agartha.
