Wow, 8 Posts left?! Well 7 after this one.
Paris is great for a few days, it's a bit expensive. And the women tend to watch for the trendy guys. If you (like me) are a bit out of sinc with th current trend, you are likely to end up in the gutter. Fortunately me Polish gf was with me so I had no trouble with women (or their bf's).
Another VERY good city to check out beautiful women is Prague. It beats Paris and Amsterdam with ease. Well that's my opinion.

I hope GT returns with a grand entry. I can't wait to read about the new cantina. Hope to see ya all there! In case I forget: Happy new year and all the best for 2003!!

Don't know if it is true:
Because of a minor infraction, a shipmate of mine aboard the USS Reeves, bound for Japan, was busted one rank, fined and given extra duty for three weeks. Looking forward to celebrating his 21st birthday on July 22, he consoled himself every night during his extra duty by reciting, "They can bust me, they can fine me -- but they can't take away my birthday." As July 22 approached, his excitement increased. When he went to bed on July 21, he happily repeated, "They can bust me, they can fine me -- but they can't take away my birthday." The next morning, he found out that the ship had crossed the international date line -- and it was July 23.

Technically, the universe took away his birthday, not the navy.

As Mac is playing RD in chess, he glances around nervously around the cantina, he keeps looking at his watch, oh me oh my, My Good RD, I must excuse myself for a few minutes.... with that Mac gets up from his table and walks over to the far wall, where he fumbles around and an secret door opens, Mac walks thru...., Several minutes later he comes back out, fumbles around again, the door disappears. He walks back to his table, shaking uncontrolably and with moisture filling his eyes, he sits down, moves his Knight to q3, and whispers to RD, The "Device" has been engaged, the countdown has begun..... He then orders a double brewski on Rags's tab sits back and tries to enjoy his chess game with RD

"Gonna miss this old place". Taz says with what suspiciously looks like a tear in the corner of his eye.

The tension seems to be getting thick enough to cut with a knife.
