Re: King of the Isle
I really hope I can get net on airport or in Beijing on March 1st to do my turn, but I don't want to count on that.
P.S. Did Machaka put all army under water and took water breathing items off after that or what?

Re: King of the Isle
The army was put under water but not exactly like that.
Cold war ended in a very cold battle.

Re: King of the Isle
Hrmf. I can't access the hotmail website, which means I might stale out, if I can't figure out a way around it. PM sent to Twan asking for a 24-hour delay...

Re: King of the Isle
You could use different mail just for one turn.

Re: King of the Isle
I've postponed the turn by 24h in case you can't connect today.
The hotmail site isn't overloaded, it works fine for me.

Re: King of the Isle
It's been shaky for me earlier today, as it happens. Slow, and several timeouts.

Naahh. You're just afraid of the mighty Eriu armies.
If you can reach another mail account, Twan can change the address for that turn.
I'd hate it if you staled, I try to move according to what I suppose you might do. If you don't move, that'll thwart my plots.

Re: King of the Isle
Thanks, Twan. Hotmail's up and running again, and the turn has been sent. We should be receiving the next one any minute now.
LDiCesare: Heh. You can try to predict my moves. You might even succeed; I'm not making any particular effort to be sneaky.
It won't help you, in the end. ; )

Re: King of the Isle
Indeed, using brute force when you have 20 times more troops than I will probably succeed.
Still, it will delay you long enough that you may let the central isle slip out of your reach forever. Think about it.

Re: King of the Isle
Yes I have to thank Eriu and Atlantis for their desesperate resistance against Ermor and Rl'yeh. You are offering me the time to deal with Machaka and prepare all my SCs for when the other big powers will come.
In fact I've been very lucky in this game as Caelum prefered to turn AI than to fight this kind of war to slow me.
