No, I have not turned auto turns back on. Frankly I am afraid to at this point.

Unfortunatly the location where I have moved to is pushing the distance limits of standard DSL technology by a few thousand feet. The ISP has me hooked up, but the connection is not very good quality. At times it slows to a crawl, and at other times stops alltogether for a few minutes. Other then the 3 day outage Last week I think it's been mostly up, but I am afraid to turn auto turns on because I cannot be in a position 24/7 where I can quickly turn off auto turns if the server loses connection.

I am workign with the ISP to see if anything can be done, and also looking at some other possible options. PBW will not be going away, but it might not be staying at my house.

I don't want to get into it other than that for right now, but I will let you know something in the next couple weeks. Just be patient with me, and have your game owner run the turns. It's still a lot easier then running the game PBEM. And if everyone plays, he doesn't have to do anything really.

If anyone has a game owner that is gone over the rainbow, let me know and we'll get ownership switched to someone active in the game.

how easy would it be to get it to ping your isp, if it dosent get a reply it will automaticly turn the auto turns off...
also if you had some kind of indicator on the homepage to let us know if its on or off would be cool to...
off course all this means work, blaeh...
