I sent him cash too.
Should we attempt to get in touch with him? I'll send him a PM to see what's up. (Edit: OK, PMed & Emailed him.)
If we don't hear back from him, what are our options?

Re: Turbocharged AI vs Humanities Last Hope - Running
We have an offer of a sub, but I didn't get the password for C'tis from Endo. Maybe Gandalf could help us with that (I'll ask), but we should give Endo time to reply.
Do people think we really need a sub? I feel like we have almost wrapped this up bar the actually getting it done. I wouldn't like to have a sub come in expecting a challenge and only participate in the mop up.

This game is really pretty much over, I don't think Atlantis can really fight all of us off, infact, I think we should just call it game over. Been real fun guys, but the struggle, the fun part, is over.

Re: Turbocharged AI vs Humanities Last Hope - Running
It's perfectly understandable if other people don't want to play it out - I agree that the end is a foregone conclusion at this point. However, assuming we aren't stuck w/ anyone staling, I'm still game to do the mop-up.
If we can't get Endo back, maybe we can set him AI? If that's an option, anyone who doesn't want to finish things up could theoretically be set to AI, and whoever remains can finish off Atlantis (and any other AIs).
Thanatus, if you're game, before going AI you could even kit out a bunch of thugs for the AI to use on us. You could take as many turns as you need to set your empire up to repel boarders.
Alternatively, I could set my stuff up and then go AI against you guys. Ideally, having a few turns to prepare would allow me to set up a bigger challenge for you guys. I had a few things in the works that still aren't complete, but it might make for some fun surprises for the players if I had several turns to set stuff up before handing it over to an AI.
This all presumes that we can set people to AI (and Doo said we may not be able to get the password for C'Tis - I'm not sure if we'd need that to set him AI).
What do you guys think? Does any of the above sound worth anyone's time?

Re: Turbocharged AI vs Humanities Last Hope - Running
I can certainly do that. I have tons of gems and giants, I can certainly make some SCs. I just don't have any desire to do the mop up work.

Ha! Even I was thinking of going AI for you guys
Personally I'm done with this game, I've summoned a few tarts and can summon a few more, GoR them up into SC beasts and go ai.
Hrum, you have indicated you would like to play it out, I'd suggest you stay in.
How about you Thanatus?, feel you could triumph over a silicon Tir Na n'Og?

Re: Turbocharged AI vs Humanities Last Hope - Running
Mauxe, how about you? Are you game to join me in finishing off Abysia & Atlantis, and in taking on these new threats as former allies turn on us under new AI leadership?
Assuming that Endo isn't returning, any thoughts on whether or not we'll be able to set C'Tis to AI (or have someone sub in for him)? If we're stuck with C'Tis staling, I guess the only course of action will just be to eat C'Tis as quickly as possible to speed the game up (so we don't have to wait the full timer value for the turns to cycle).

Re: Turbocharged AI vs Humanities Last Hope - Running
OK, so based on what people have said so far, it looks like this is what we're doing (please everyone let me know if I'm off base on any of this):
-Mauxe (Caelum) is continuing in the game.
-Hrum (Kailasa) is continuing in the game.
-Doo (TNN) is kitting out thugs prior to going AI.
-Thanatus (Fomoria) is kitting out thugs prior to going AI.
-C'Tis can't be set AI, and will need to be gobbled up to speed up turn cycling.
Is that about right?
I'm going to assume this is how we're doing things unless someone tells me different.

C'tis has gone rogue, I fear AI involvement....
