Meh do what you will. It's clear to me now you're incapable of managing this. I'm going AI. Enjoy.

I disagree. The vote which moved for a change to 48 hours should be honored right away.

The vote technically *lost*, but timer changed to 48.

Err... I asked for a 3 day delay on June 3rd (and again on June 13th). Which, if we had 48 hour cycles, would at most mean 24 hour delay (and none if the hosting cycle goes perfectly, ie I get in a turn right after hosting and just before I depart, then I'd have 96 hours-> no delay needed at all).
Really, it is not a week, at most 48 hours (if we are on a 24 hour cycle) or 24 hours (if we are on a 48 hour cycle)

I'll take over for Chris if need be but I would have managed it in just the same way he would have. Anyone who thinks he's being unfair should take a step back and relax a bit. Anyhow, don't have a chance to look at the hosting time but I can't make any proper submissions for until late monday possibly tuesday so if you can delay the game about 12 hours or so that'd be super (Ulm too if you're reading this Chris, also clean out your mailbox).

Right, so who is now in charge? Fakey is the GM now?
I seriously hope the possibility for the 24 hour delay (if needed) still is ok, which is why I asked a couple weeks ago already (when cleveland gave an ok). Starting to panic here with all the recent changes, I so much hate staling and I thought if I take matters up in good time everything would be ok and good order, but now everything suddenly seem so fuzzy

Jar, whomever is running this will give you your delay. Don't worry.

Re: Magellan: All-EA Nations CBM game, 3D spherical map, Running
FNN (Forest News Network)
*BREAK THE NEWS*
A glorious defensive operation saves the Pangaean army!
FNN reporters were present today to witness the Pangaean army under the command of the prophet Hippothoos rapidly retreat from its besieging positions outside the city of Marverni. Reports of a massive Tien Chi army advancing from south and southwest had apparently convinced the Pangaen leadership to pick up everything and move away.
"This is a great day for Pangea!" exclaimed prophet Hippothoos after the army had moved out. "With this masterfully executed operation we have shown what Pangaea is made of, the enemy was not able to catch us, and we will prevail!"
Some Pangaen observers were not as positive of the victoryt. FNN succeeded to overhear the discussion between a High Priest in the service of Pangaea and Hippothoos.
"Our destiny was there, but you decided we must run away!" the High Priest was heard claiming.
"We performed a brave and valiant military operation which has saved Pangaea from a massive defeat." the prophet Hippothoos replied.
"Ah, so we valiantly ran away?" the High Priest is claimed to have continued. Sadly for the continuation of the discussion can not be presented for the audience, because of the centaur guards efficiently removing FNN reporterrs from the scene at this point.
Hidden amongst the countryside FNN reporters were present when the apparently very disappointed Tien Chi army arrived to the field outside Marverni. Hundreds of demons of heavenly rivers, pegasii and warriors of the five elements were seen. Leading the massive army were a score of heavy duty battle-mages, including the Tien Chi pretender herself.
Will Pangaea survive the onslaught of the Tien Chi main army? How many valiant retreats can Pangaea perform before they have lost too many? Why does not Pangaea send its thousands of manikin to battle?
Stay tuned to FNN and you will be the first to know the answers!

Re: Magellan: All-EA Nations CBM game, 3D spherical map, Running
Ok, I have sent in the next turn for Magellan. After the hosting on Wednesday evening, I would like to ask for the next hosting be delayed until Saturday 18 GMT please (ie a 24 hour delay unless you all suddenly get hyperactive), so that I get the turn in in time. Of course, if I just find a connection to the net somewhere, I will get a turn in earlier, but I don't think that is very likely.
Thanks again you all for the understanding on this
