Re: Hosting change
I've checked again, I actually have some early turns in my mail, so it might be possible to write or share some thoughts. Not sure it the turns are the more interesting ones, I will have to check when the game draws to en and for the Lawgiver (or the world ).

Re: Hosting change
Glad to hear you've enjoyed the game so far Kristoffer. Getting you keen on the game is very good news for us!
An AAR would be awesome too. There are actually very few of them around, oddly.

Re: Hosting change
Well, I'll be...
You'll probably have noticed from the ruckus I raised yesterday that I managed to stale my turn... more or less. Here's the story of what really happened:
I played my turn without being in any rush, finished it, and mailed it to the server. Then I went into the kitchen, grabbed an apple, ate it, (estimated time: 3-4 minutes) and came back to the computer to check my gmail, where I found out the latest turn had already been sent. I cursed, I checked the latest messages, and noticed that the hosting wasn't scheduled at 23.00 anymore. So I came to the forums to vent, and then crawled into bed.
Today I download the new turn (and bemoan my bad luck about just missing the host once more), and after a quick peek at the forums start up dominions and the Armadillo game.
Where I notice that all my orders have been given.
So... I appologise to all of you for the loud noises I made, and props to Llama, for running the server that hosts quicker than his shadow. Or at least quicker than my numb brain can comprehend, apparently.

Re: Hosting change
This message is sent as a courtesy, and out of respect for my predecessor who I am proud to name “friend”.
To my allies: all existing agreements with the nation of Atlantis will be honored for as long as those worthy beings desire. My allies need not fear.
To all the rest: I come.
While my beloved waves are and shall ever be my home, I come. You may think yourselves safe because I am not (at present) on your border. Do not be a fool. Just as the sea spray rises invisibly into heaven to later fall as rain upon all lands, so shall my armies fall upon your nations. Oceania’s time is almost done. I come.
Lawgiver, the waves whisper your name. I can scarce believe what they say. We have prepared a special place for you, down in the deep where sunlight is but a myth. Soon, yes very soon, you shall be our special guest. Yessssss.
I come

Where they will be gratefully received. The proud nation of C'tis is ever looking for more workers to raise Ziggurats in the name of Sankriss, God of Invincible Power and So Many Other Titles it Would Take an Army of Scribes to Write Them All Down. Yes, you will be made welcome.

Re: Hosting change
Well it's time for me to go (Arco)....I'll post my files to Valerius as he's the games host....I've had no luck so far looking for a sub in my looking for subs thread. Sorry about the departure, but I'm embarking on a 3400km journey in a few hours and theres no DSL where I'm headed.
Cheers
GE.

Re: Hosting change
Good luck, GE!
I just want to let everyone know that I obviously won't look at Arco's turn. I'm forwarding the info to llamabeast.
