Drat. My 'change in hosting interval' didn't stick. Thanks for the heads up Sensori...

Re: BAG
Yeah, I'm seriously going... Um... I'm damn nervous about this turn, what with all the weird stuff going on. If it runs without my turn going in... I'm going to be very very pissed off. If it doesn't... I'll be extremely relieved.

Re: BAG
On the plus side, LLamabeast does have backups- and judging from past problems, will all end up resuming play from the turn in which the freeze started.

Re: BAG
He does? Whew, that's a relief. Nice to know! Still, got a nice adrenaline rush from the looking at minutes pass by... ;p And it's nice to know that it was a good thing (sort of) I started spilling my nervousness across the game threads, otherwise I wouldn't have found out that he keeps backups!
Now, if I could just stop being nervous, everything'd be peachy...

Re: BAG
I see that both Atlantis and R'yleh are veteran players and one is Lazy_Perfectionist.
Lazy_Perfectionist, I understand you may be exhausted from work. But, and this is a big but, turn 6 for a water nation shouldn't take more than 15 minutes, 30 minutes to do carefully. It seems both you and Jazzepi are in other games where the timer can't be changed forward 5 days.
If people want to raise the timer to 48, or even 72 hours after say, Turn 12, Turn 15, whatever, I think that's fine.
But allowing, and doing, this kind of nonsense on Turn 6 needlessly prolongs the game. Turn 6 simply can't be that complicated.

Re: BAG
Die in a river. I'm trying to finalize buying a house and do 13 credit hours worth of college at the same time as well as pack for moving and play in 5 games. I have no problem sending e-mail.

Re: BAG
I was just wanting to know if it was caused by the problems with the server, i guess they weren't.

Re: BAG
Why don't you die in a river?
If you have the time to post on this board, punk, you have time to do Turn 6. Early turns aren't hard. Punk.
Many people are intimidiated by out-right rudeness by a punk, punk. I am not one of them.
I'm inclinded to be more sympathetic to Lazy, because his failure to respond withing 2 hours of my posting indicates HE MAY ACTUALLY BE BUSY.
