How do I go about getting a temp / permanent sub for Agartha?
I'm just too busy and the turns are taking way too long :S
Sorry guys.. i'll try to keep doing my turns but i just don't have time to put the effort required in to them.

Make a new thread saying the game name, nation, approx game turn and general situation and ask for a sub in the title. Also, make sure to link the main game thread (this one) in your post. Then ask them to contact you for further details (ie. specifics about your situation, pretender design, long term strat, current diplomatic agreements, etc.) and then get them to send me their email so that I can switch it for yours once they've decided to sub for you.
I'd also appreciate it if you kept up your turns until we found a sub so as to keep the game moving.
Edit: Actually I'll put up a thread since I'm on right now and people will have to contact me anyhow.

Re: Magellan: All-EA Nations CBM game, 3D spherical map, Running
I believe the tide in the Pangaea - Tien Chi has now changed for good. The fat lady has not yet sung so the show is not over, but I am going to blatantly assume the plot is now obvious: Pangaea will eventually steam-roll through the last TC provinces. Tien Chi still has two very great armies which would give me gray hair if I wasn't bald already, but the other one is not very mobile while the other one does not seem to have the mage support (and I can tell you this: Those TC mages are *tough* when they support the triple-blessed TC sacred troops!).
Anyway, I know it is customary (and very smart) to start to rip apart the losing side by the looming hyeanas following the war on the side-lines, but I would like to ask people to not jump on TC. Chris has been a superb opponent, and I would like to give him a honourable fight until the grim end. Of course there is also the slightly selfish fact that Pangaea has yet won nothing but some swamp-provinces from the war, and it would suck royally if others snipped all the goodies off of TC after all the heavy fighting we've gone through
Anyway Chris, it will be interesting to see what you will pull out of your sleeve still! You've certainly suprised me quite a few times already, and I don't believe you've yet boarded your last ace (what ever it will be) I've learned quite a lot of this game from this war, and I am grateful for all the lessons you've given me so far

Oh yes, the fat lady is definitely warming up... Being 2:1'd the whole game has been .. fun, but not profitable.
Yes, I have a few surprises up my sleave.. I do believe you are going to discover one of them this turn.
As for why I have no mage support on the armies - First marvernia and then formoria were nuking my capital every turn, driving unrest over 200.... ever since turn 6 or so. So I literally haven't been able to build em =).
But I shall be avenged.. Perhaps I've been giving gems to ulm every turn...imagine what he could do with almost 1000 gems here to now.. and a forge bonus.
To the free people of the world - you are making a sore mistake to leave pangaeas globals up. Pangaea has been stockpiling death - with GoH up, and carrion woods he has two viable routes to overwhelming with either BoT or Tartarians.
Dispelling Moather oak is critical.. how long will you wait?

It appears that the monkey men of Kailasa don't quite understand what an NAP3 entails. It means that you have to GIVE NOTICE before attacking that person, at least 3 turns worth. But alas, you cannot expect the finer points of diplomacy to keep when dealing with primatives.
To that end, those with agreements with Kailasa, I'd urge you to reconsider whatever standing arangements you might have with them, as they have just shown that they do not hold honoring agreements in high regard.
Also, I have to delay the game a bit, weekend is quite busy for me. should have everything in order by monday.

I wish I had been stockpiling death As Chris well knows, my 5 death-gems per turn have been going to first summoning a revenant who has then been chain-summoning Mound Kings so that I have *somebody* able to move the mindless manikin around. Sadly EA Pans have no inherent Death gem income and no deathmages to lead the manikin, so this has been a very interesting experiment (one that I don't think I'll try again; the micromanagement is bad enough with just maenads, and now I have double the trouble with manikin too, and not to mention my population is dieing off way too fast for my tastes in this game with slow research... wonder if somebody would be interested in dispelling CW for me?).
Tartarians sound like a good idea. If I change all my research to Conjuration now, then I would hit Tartarians 51 turns from now. I'll keep that in mind though if I happen to stumble on some death-sites producing death gems Of course I actually would need somebody to do the summoning, but if I ever got around to that, things certainly would be possible to arrange.
Burden of Time is such a nice spell in SP, but in the MP group I usually play in BoT would be the same as painting a bulls-eye on my forehead, and I don't think it would be any different here. Also, Thaumaturgy has so little to offer to Pangaea, but if I ever succeed to climb out of the cellar in the research department, I sure would eventually hit Thau 5 too
Anyway, eagerly awaiting for the next trick you Chris will have!

LOL.. you delude yourself my tartarian friend if you think with 5globals up you aren't already a target. As for 5-Death per turn.....
Snicker...
When I stop laughing, I'll publish a list of your death income sites = ).
As for dispelling things for you.. Certainly. Send the Requisite gems. I'll be *happy* to dispel them for you.

the monkey nation of kailasa would like to correct that information from c'tis, as it is true that we have offered them a nap3 they never agreed to it so there was never a nap. But who expects truth from lizards.
